SSPMIS Software Application, an web-based solution for identification and management of beneficiaries based on future needs and requirements of State Society for Ultra Poor and Social Welfare (SSUPSW) under Department of Social Welfare, Government of Bihar.


The solution framework addresses all the core objectives and goals of Social Welfare Department. It facilitates advancement towards providing highest quality data and services to the DoSW.


Aim of the SSPMIS application is to provide better platform for identification, management and Monitoring tools for beneficiaries for SSUPSW, Department of Social Welfare. Functionalities of SSPMIS software are based on centralized architecture Servers are placed in data center at Apna Ghar, 2nd Floor in Patna.


Bihar Social Security Pension Grievance Redress System is an initiative of Social Welfare Department, to redress the Public grievances of beneficiaries of Social Security Pension.State Society for Ultra Poor and Social Welfare is an agency of Dept. of Social Welfare to develop a Management Information system named SSPMIS for effective and transparent implementation of Social Security System. A helpdesk-cum-Call Centre has been established in the office of the SSUPSW to provide support and information to the citizen and technical personnel for smooth functioning of the Pension Scheme. A toll free No. "18003456262" has been issued for the citizens and officials to lodge grievance and take support with respect to Direct Benefit Transfer of Social Security Pension.


Our Schemes


The information will be based on mobile no, email address, bank account detail and voter ID number in centralized database of Beneficiary bank account.The beneficiary master database will be linked with various external systems, such as BPL list , socio - economic caste census and based on biometric identification system etc.With the help of this data set, various schemes amount to the bank accounts of beneficiaries will be sent directly,the role of the middlemen will be eliminated.Thus public funds under the scheme will be used to open new bank accounts , and where bank account is not available,will help there account opening.For the operations of SSPMIS plan, the built in of district, block and block -level facilitation center, the region to develop software and hardware infrastructure,to ensure the availability of trained people in the region,hard copy data to digital form, the availability to the network connectivity is required.All of the above actions by the district administration to benefit will be directly related to the beneficiaries.


WIDOW PENSION
INDIRA GANDHI WIDOW PENSION (CENTRAL GOVT.) For purpose of claiming central assistance, the following criteria shall apply:(1) The age of the widow shall be between 40-79 years.(2) The applicant must belong to a houshold below the poverty line according to the criteria prescribed by the Government Of India.
LAXMI BAI SOCIAL SECURITY PENSION (BIHAR GOVT.) As the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS) only covers widows aged 40-79 years, some State Governments have launched state widow pension schemes.The Lakshmi Bai Pension Yojana in Bihar covers all widows above 18 years of age whose annual family income is below Rs. 60,000


DISABILITY PENSION
INDIRA GANDHI DISABILITY PENSION (CENTRAL GOVT.) Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme was introduced in Bihar during the year 2009-10 as a part of National Social Assistance Programme. The Scheme is being implemented through the funds received from Government of India. If applicant is receiving state social security pension, then he/she is ineligible to procure this pension. Under the scheme an amount of Rs.400 /- per month is paid to applicant.
BIHAR STATE DISABILITY PENSION (BIHAR GOVT.) The disability pension scheme is known as Bihar State Disability Pension Scheme initiated by the State Government to cover only those persons with disabilities who are not covered under the Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS). Eligibility Criteria (1).The applicant must be physically disabled and posses a certificate of minimum 40% of disability.(2).There is no minimum or maximum age limit for availing the benefits of the scheme.(3).There is no upper limit of annual income defined for availing the pension.(4).The applicant should be a resident of the State or should have been residing in the State for at least past 10 years, since the date of submission of the application.


OLD AGE PENSION
Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (CENTRAL GOVT.): The National Old Age Pension Scheme was introduced in Bihar in 1995 under the National Social Assistance Programme 2007. In November 2007 the Scheme was renamed as the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme. The Scheme is designed for older persons who are at the age of 60 years or above.
Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojna: Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojna- This is a state run old age pension scheme in which the beneficiary would get a monthly pension of Rs. 400 whereas the beneficiary whose age is 80 years and above would get a monthly pension of Rs. 500 . The eligibility criteria for this scheme are : Minimum age to get registered in this scheme is 60 years. EPIC Card is mandatory.Aadhar Card is mandatory. Aadhar consent & Bank Account details with conset to use for DBT are mandatory.


SSPMIS Software are providing following solutions:

  • Registration of new beneficiary in SSPMIS Application is available with Modification, Verification and Validation from Centralized database of beneficiaries and beneficiaries related details.

  • Established a comprehensive IT application that provides functionality end to end record of all transactions and processes relating to implementation of pension programs. In other words, the SSPMIS is expected to replace as much of the manual process relating to monitoring of the program.

  • Developed and implement a comprehensive MIS to improve the effectiveness of the funds flow and disbursement of funds to the actual beneficiaries for all the pension schemes under DoSW.

  • Make the relevant and accurate information on program beneficiaries and performance easily available to the department and to all stakeholders for better decision making.

  • Enable the department for effectively monitoring the scheme and thereby taking informed decisions related to the scheme in the future.
